Kindergarten Registration Dates Set Kindergarten Registration will be held at Fairview Elementary School on Monday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 23, from 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00 both days. Rice Elementary School Kindergarten Registration will be held at Rice Elementary on Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25 from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:00 on both days. All children entering kindergarten must be five (5) years of age before September 1, 2010. They also must have the following immunizations: 4 DPT, one dose on or after the fourth birthday; 3 polio; 2 MMR; the Hepatitis “B” series, and Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or history of the disease. Children should accompany parents to registration to participate in vision, speech, and hearing screenings. Parents must also bring your child’s birth certificate. Some proof of residency is also required (for example; a gas, electric, or phone bill). Parents please bring: · Your child · Child’s immunization record · Child’s birth certificate · Proof of residency (example - driver's license, utility bill) Both name and address must be current.
